1001 Nights Souq Bahrain




Bahrain is going to get Arabian Nighted. Every Friday and Saturday until May 31, the Al Areen Palace and Spa will host a costumed Arabian bazaar where you can buy jewelry, perfume and other things while presumably engaging with a sense of the Nights created by the decorated stalls, costumed performers and other elements.




21st century touches include ATV riding and jumpy houses.

The market will cover several distinct areas such as retail market stalls, staging area where lively performances from entertainers will be featured, camel rides, horse rides and carriages, children’s play area, falconers, strolling musicians, Moroccan style water seller, acrobatics, magicians, jugglers, fire eaters, etc. A living museum including – blacksmith, calligraphy, brass decoration and other artesan products will also be included."

S.T. Dupont - Limited Edition THOUSAND AND ONE NIGHTS (2011)



S.T. Dupont is a high end maker of pens and other collectible pricy things.

"ST Dupont Paris is a brand name and manufacturer of lighters, collectible pens, handbags, perfumes, cigarette (made by Philip Morris International), and recently other gadgets using the trademark diamond-head pattern. The company has been producing luxury items since 1872 when founded by Simon Tissot Dupont. The founder of the brand, Simon Tissot-Dupont was born in Savoy in 1847. S.T. Dupont owes its initials to him."

In 2011 they released a 1001 Nights inspired set of a pen and lighter.

On ebay the lighters alone are currently selling for around $3000.

1001 Nights Shoe Line

Jordanian shoemaker aennis eunis has unveiled their latest collection called 1001 Nights, at Bloomingdale's Dubai.

The limited edition collection is available only for another few days and consists of designs by Anas Shanaah. There are seven shoes named Shahrazade, Parizade, Badeia Al Jamal, Shams Al Nahar, Al Ward Fi Al Akmam, Jawharah Al Bihar and Zain II Mawasef.
